About Day 27

Day 27 - A picture of yourself and a family member.

 

This is my sister Larissa and me.

A little before I got baptized.

I think it was the day before.

Just last night I had a dream that she died.

It made me so sad I almost woke up crying.

I love Larissa so much.

She's my best friend in the whole wide world.

About Days 25 and 26

Day 25 - A picture of your day.

 This is what happened yesterday.

Trent and I are not very into shopping.

He's a boy.

And I hate shopping for clothes.

I love shoe shopping though.

Trent and I needed new jeans, and shoes, and shirts.
Our jeans are ripped, our shirts are old and our shoes are falling apart.

So we went shopping.

We shopped for him first.
He got two new pairs of jeans, a really cute shirt and shoes.

And I got two new pairs of jeans, two shirts, two camis and two pairs of flats.
Yay for new clothes!

Day 26 - A picture of something that means a lot to you.

 

Trent took me to Oregon on MLK's Day Weekend.

He took me to a bookstore because he said he used to go there a lot.

I love books.

And when I go to bookstores I just lose myself surrounded by all the books.

We were having a lot of fun there.

Then Trent asked me, "Do you like the books here?"

I said, "I love books."

Trent said, "Pick one that you want to take home with you."

My eyes went wide open and I asked, "Really?"

He smiled and I started looking for THE book.

After a lot of browsing...

And a lot of "I'm sorry I'm taking so long" comments...

I found "I am Number Four."

I showed it to Trent and after I said that was the one I wanted,

he said it sounded so interesting he wanted to read it too.

When I showed my roommate Brianna the book she said,

"That has a movie coming out, doesn't it?"

I didn't know that when I chose it.

School hasn't given me time to read it yet.

But I was so happy that Trent bought me a book.

Even though it might not seem like the ultimate romantic thing,

it meant a lot to me.

About Day 24

Day 24 - A picture of something you wish you could change.

 

I wish I could fast-forward time.

First to April to make school end for me FOREVER.

And then to June.

About Day 23

Day 23 - A picture of your favorite book.

Talk about a hard question.

I have too many favorite books.
So I'll divide them into categories.

First Book that I remember reading and loving.

Books that I have read more than once, twice, three times, you get the picture.

Book I read in a day that I wouldn't recommend to a lot of people because it might be disturbing unless you're like me and like dark stuff.

Being from Peru, the sport I'm into is soccer.

Not basketball, not football, not baseball, not tennis.

Soccer.

I love the World Cup.

I wish I could play well.

I don't really want to talk about it.
But I wish I could forget it.

Day 20 - A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.

I'd love to go to France.

It's the city of love.

They speak the language of love.

It's perfect.

Day 19 - A picture of you when you were little.

Daddy, me, Mom and Larissa.

I don't know how old I was but I was such a cutie.

About Day 18

Day 18 - A picture of your biggest insecurity.

I've got two.

First thing:

I'm brown.

For the longest time I thought being brown was a synonym of being inferior.

In Peru, if your skin is lighter than normal you get more friends.

At least it was that way in my HS.

It didn't help that when I came to Utah for the first time, my roommates were racist.

I had just left home and wanted to be accepted,

but they would eat my food, 

hide my stuff,

laugh at me 

and kick the bathroom door when I was inside.

I was so close to going back home for good.

Second thing:

I'm fat.

I'm so self-conscious about my weight.

Same thing.

In Peru, if you're fat, you're not popular.

So I didn't have a lot of friends in HS.

And it was hard to find nice clothes.

I'm considered obese in Peru.

Because girls usually look like this.

Yeah, not me.

About Day 17

Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently.

My first Humanities Test Results.
Yeah, I know.
68.
This has made me want to actually pay more attention to class.
Which is hard because I have ADHD.
So I'm gonna buy a notebook.
And take notes the old way.
I'm getting a B next time!

About Day 16

Day 16 - A picture of someone who inspires you.

My daddy.
He's the best daddy in the world!
He's inspired everything I've done.
I live to make him proud.
And I want to be as great as he is.

About Day 15

Day 15 - A picture of something you want to do before you die.

 

I want to write and publish a best-seller.

I know I can.

And I'm going to.

I'm already working on my first novel!

About Day 14

Day 14 - A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.

Trent is my everything.

He makes me very happy.

My life before him was a good life.

But he has made it so much better by being part of it.

And I can't imagine my life without him anymore.

About Day 13

Day 13 - A picture of your favorite band or artist.

That's a hard one.

I like bands but I don't think I like one so much that I want to keep listening to their songs.

I usually like one of the songs.

Whichever I hear on the radio.

But there's one band I will always listen to.

I have to go with them. 

 

The Beatles.

Why?

Because they're awesome.

About Day 12

Day 12 - A picture of something you love.

I would put a picture of Trent.

But that would be so predictable.

Yes, I do love Trent but I'm gonna put a picture of my other boyfriend.

Or boyfriends...

Yes, those are books.

And that's my growing library.

I love books.

I love reading.

And I want to have a big library one day.

About Day 11

Day 11 - A picture of something you hate.

Funny you should ask that.

Because right now I had something else in mind.

But I'll let it slide to put something I really hate.

As in, all the time hate.

Putting this picture up is so hard for me.

I hate clowns.

I've hated them since I watched "Clownhouse"

I was scarred for life.

I put a picture of stupid clowns because if I had put a real scary one...

I'd be screaming like crazy!

About Day 9 and 10

Day 09 - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

 Meet Spencer Brady.
He's my big brother.
He was my best friend before Trent.
Without Spencer and his support,
I honestly don't know what I would have done in some situations.

Day 10 - A picture of the person you do the most messed up things with.

Meet Danielle Tuttle.
I haven't seen my Danielle in a while.

But this girl brings the crazy out of me.

If you have seen me on caffeine, you know how I go crazy.

With Danielle, I don't need caffeine.

It makes me laugh every time.

My daddy gave me those fake roses when he first dropped me off at BYU back in 2006.

They have been so valuable to me ever since.

He said those roses would never die.

About Babies

If you know me,

then you know I love babies.

I love babysitting.

Babies make me think of innocence,

of little spirits up there waiting to come down to a loving family.

Babies need taking care of,

and they are so helpless they need us.

Babies make me feel useful.

I like being there for people,
I like taking care of babies,
they appreciate everything you do.

And when they smile at you.
It's like heaven.

These are my two favorite babies in the world.

Jameson

He's my friend Sam's baby.

I first babysat Jay when he was just over a month old.

I thought he was the cutest baby I had ever seen.

We've been friends since then.

I've loved watching him grow.

He's walking now!

He's about to be 11 months old.

(In like 9 days)

And this is my new favorite girl.

Cute little Allisyn.

 

She's Trent's niece.

We babysit her every Tuesday.

And I look forward to those days.

I love being around babies.

I love it when they just smile at you.

Alli is 5 months old.

(Her half-birthday is in like 17 days!)

I usually don't steal pictures but
